Now, here we are today. Many of you are volunteering to give up your holiday and to be trained by CAL FIRE so that you can go to the front lines once again.

That decision, just as this one was to re-enlist indefinitely, would not be possible without the support and strength from his wife Suzanne.

Likely, there is no single answer. Yet days like this reenlistment, held on the birthday of our nation, provide an opportunity to attempt to answer such difficult questions.
